Education and Clinical Experience

Education

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Thesis Honors from Tufts University. I then earned my Doctor of Psychoanalysis and Master of Arts in Psychoanalytic Counseling degrees at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. I am also a graduate of the School-Based Fellowship Program at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy.

Clinical Experience

My clinical experience includes working with children and families, adolescents, and adults in both outpatient settings and inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. I work with each of my clients based on his/her/their individual needs, and I frequently implement cognitive behavioral, psychotherapeutic, psychodynamic, modern psychoanalytic, and other talk therapy techniques to best help reduce and resolve each of my client’s unwanted symptoms and behavior patterns. I have also held certifications as both a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH), which greatly enhanced my ability to help my clients significantly reduce the severity of their anxiety, and increase their ability to manage daily stressors. My diverse training, clinical experience, and my credentials as a Doctor of Psychoanalysis (PsyaD) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), allow me to best serve the individual needs of each of my clients.
