Specialized Approach to Therapy

It is of the utmost importance to recognize that everyone is unique, which is why it is essential that every person receives a customized therapeutic approach to have the best chance at achieving his/her/their treatment goals. My specific approach to therapy involves utilizing my diverse experience and extensive training in different therapy modalities to help my clients learn strategies and techniques in order to have the greatest chance at achieving long-term symptom relief, improved interpersonal relationships, increased self-confidence and self-esteem, improved self-awareness, and increased emotional tolerance, among many other benefits.


When the more deeply rooted issues and conflicts that have caused people to suffer are identified and resolved, many people are able to experience freedom and relief from the burden of many of the unwanted symptoms and feelings they experienced for so long. In addition to working on identifying and resolving the root causes of symptoms, I also regularly teach individuals who begin therapy with me how to use mindfulness and relaxation strategies and skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills that can rapidly decrease unwanted symptoms and uncomfortable feelings, and help people feel more emotionally grounded and safe.
